About Our Job Matching Service

In 2022, Havant Borough Council established a youth employment hub in partnership with the department of Work and Pensions to support local 16-24 year olds move into employment. Since its launch, the Youth Hub has continuously supported over 200 young people from Havant and its surrounding area to develop skills, experience and confidence to become work ready.

Our Youth Hub Work Coaches work closely with training providers and employers to understand skills and employment needs to ensure the young people accessing the hub are equipped with experience ready for entry-level work.

Following the success of delivering projects working closely with employers to offer paid work placements and offer alternative recruitment events, we are excited to launch our job matching service. This service provides free recruitment support to local employers, tapping into a ready-made talents pipeline for any sector.

Our passion is to connect local people to local jobs, driving growth and activity across the borough. We work with employers to promote live vacancies to the young people accessing our Youth Hub service, putting forward the best.
